Basic Blackjack
Strategies in blackjack are frequently the
title of a page that has zero on it but a big chart,
leaving a lot of beginners quite puzzled. That chart
is in fact a map of results. Along the left column
there are numbers and letters written like this (A,
3), which requires to be read as Ace, 3. These stand
for your initial two-card hand. Down the top of the
chart are single numbers and letters matching to the
dealers up-card. If you were to pick the Ace, 3 row,
and follow it over to the right until you reach the
8 column, you would see the letter H. That H means
hit, and this is logical because if the dealer is
showing an 8 and all you have is an Ace and a 4, of
